Stallion, Mare & Foal Management

We work closely with our theriogenologist to ensure that we maintain our horses’ health both reproductively and physically.   Our conditioning, feeding and health management program ensures that we maintain the healthiest possible horses for the greatest breeding results. Our breeding lab and facilities provide a safe and sanitized environment for all our procedures, foaling and horse care.

Our foaling program focuses on the health and safety of both the mare and foal.   All mares that are in their final 30 days of gestation are closely monitored 24/7 to ensure appropriate foal presentation and foaling process and mitigate any dystocia's as soon as the mare's water breaks.  All newborn foals receive umbilical care along with close observation of the mare and foal to ensure adequate nursing and overall health.  Mare colostrum is tested immediately post foaling to check quality,  if needed banked colostrum is available on site.  Foal IgG tests are performed to confirm that adequate antibodies transfer occurs  and the appropriate antibody levels are received from the mare's colostrum, if needed foal IgG serum transfusion is available.
